Muscle Cars Ltd. Restoration Gallery

In this gallery you will see some of the before and after photos of restorations done by us and some of our customers. To see the process of the restorations click the additional photo links in their respective section. In many cases the phrase, "It's going to look much worse before it looks better", says it all.  Some of these cars require a real commitment and dedication to bring them back.  And when finished they are treasured by their owners.

1966  Ford Mustang

This 1966 Mustang  began its life on the coast of Florida where it remained  for many years. The new owner brought it to Maine where it was used for a few years and then was put away.  As with most coastal cars the underneath  was rusted badly and the owner had us go through the entire sub structure of the car, which required New Full Floors, Sub Frames, Rear Torque Boxes, Inner Rockers, as well as Custom made Tunnel repair panels. We also completely overhauled the interior, wiring, glass, fuel system,  trunk, and weatherstrippings. As you can see the end result  was remarkable. The car will have a very pampered  life as a summer time cruiser here in Maine.

Here is a beautiful "older restoration" of a 1955 Ford Sunliner.  The car has the original 272 cubic inch motor and has never been apart.  It is an automatic, has power steering, power top and continental kit.  It has 88,000 original miles and is a pleasure to drive.  Sorry, although there is a for sale sign, this car is not.  It is now a permanent part of our collection.

Found in a garage in Long Island, New York. This very original Mustang was restored by us for the new owners. The car had 95,000 miles and a 6 cylinder automatic. But what makes it interesting and rare is the combination of equipment it was ordered with. Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Top. These options are common on 8 cylinder cars, but unusual on sixes. The car now has all new interior in bright red, and Vintage Burgandy exterior. The car is driven daily during the summer.

This Mustang is still in the hands of the original owner. The car had been worked on by several shops, with more damage being done to it than repairs done. Finally the car was brought to Muscle Cars LTD. After correcting many previous repairs and replacing some of the sheet metal, the car was ready  for Paint and to have the new motor installed. The car is now back home in New Brunswick, Canada.

This is one of the many customers Mustangs restored by us. Many shops turn people away that have cars that need as much work as this one. But we do not turn people away. We specialize in complete restoration. This car had a special meaning for it's owners, and they wanted to have it restored. Although the drivetrain was good, most everything else had to be replaced. The entire bottom side of this car, from front to rear with exception of the transmission tunnel, was replaced or rebuilt. All the body panels with the exception of 1 door and hood were replaced. All the interior, top and trim were replaced. All of the front suspension was replaced, and after painting and assembling, the owners had a beautiful daily driver.
