Some of these cars are from our own collection as well as many from our customers and friends. Please feel free to browse through the showcase's and you may even see something that you may want to try on your own project. If you would like to have your car showcased please go to the contact page. Thank You. ![]() image2 image3 image4 image5 image6 image7 image8 image9 Here is one of the most talked about pieces in our collection. It is also our Registered Trademark. The car was completely custom built here at Muscle Cars LTD. The Mustang body and fiberglass nose were mounted on a custom made box tube chassis, with a Mustang II front suspension. The severly narrowed 9 inch is held in place by a ladder bar and coil over suspension. The driveline starts with a fully worked and blown Cleveland, into a Zoom clutch and toploader 4 speed. Finally into a Ford 9 inch with 5:14's. Although the motor is setback 15%, and the firewall moved, we maintained most of the original interior with the exception of the rear seat, which now hosts 2 huge tubs to cover 21 1/2 inch wide tires in the rear. Finally the Black, Blue, and Purple-Perl Custom paint is covered in 5 coats of clear. The car is street legal and is driven regularly to shows, and cruise nites. And ocasionally, we take visitors for a ride. ![]() image2 image3 image4 image5 image6 Currently residing in Maine as a permanent part of our collection at Muscle Cars LTD., is the early '70's Maverick of ex-Midwest flopper racer, Danny Miller. We recently purchased the car in Tennessee after losing out on a deal to purchase the car in the mid 90's. The car is powered by an alcohol injected Boss 429 Stroked to 494 cubic inches and hooked to a Powerglide with an 8 3/4 Chrysler Rear. We intend to race and show it at some Nostalgia events this year, and put a supercharger back on before season's end. ![]() image2 image3 Here is something unique and interesting. This 1990 Shogun Altered was built with a back end of a "26 Model T and the front nose cone is of a scaled down '69 Ford Mustang. Originally powered with a 351 Cleveland into a Powerglide and then to a Ford 9-inch. Ran in the 7.90's. It is now waiting for a blown small block and new paint. Stay Tuned!!!!
This is the 1982 "Horsepower" Corvette Funny Car of Joe Cammella found in southern Maine in 1998. We are trying to find some original pictures of it and possibly restore it to it's original condition. Anyone with any information or pictures of the car during the early 80's would be appreciated.
This is a 1950 Ford Custom. That has had a host of modifications and custom tricks. First the rear doors were welded, that's right, this started as a 4 door. Then it had been given a Nova front clip. It has a 350/350 Chevy with a turbo 400 transmission into a Ford 9-inch, tilt wheel, power brakes, power steering, frenched headlights, tube grille, power antenna, visor, and dual exhaust with Smitty Mufflers. The Car was recently sold and is now in Connecticut.
Most people would like to build something a little different than the next guy. And then there is Mike and Brenda Rose of Brewer, Maine. Building something different requires imagination, creativity, and most of all patience. I think this remarkable Firetruck more than fits the bill. The truck was built on a Custom 2x3 box tube frame, with a Mustang II front suspension. The rear is an 8 inch Ford unit with 3:55 gears. The driveline is a 302 Ford with lots of goodies in it, and a C-4 transmission. The wooden body is made entirely of ash, was handmade by the Rose's, and was built in only 8 months. This is no trailer queen either, the Rose's use it as a daily driver during the spring, summer, and fall. It's also seen at many of the New England area car shows.
Residing in Brewer, Maine is the Chopped 1933 Chevy 5 Window Coupe of image2 image3 This is a beautiful 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback. A stout 351 Windsor now sits where the original 302 once did. With a C-4 Automatic and Ford 9-inch rear, this car looks stock and is one impressive daily driver. © 2000 - 2004, Muscle Cars LTD. ® All rights reserved.
